The following information is set out to keep you advised as to our position regarding COVID – 19. The health and safety of our employees and valued customers is our first priority and we are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. Following this advice, our office is currently OPEN but on an appointment only basis.

In summary:
House sales in progress
House sales that were in progress before Covid-19 restrictions were put in place are still able to proceed. There is no need to pull out of a transaction, but we all need to ensure we are following guidance to stay at home and away from others at all times, including the specific measures for those who are presenting symptoms, self-isolating or shielding. Prioritising the health of individuals and the public must be the priority. Surveyors, solicitors, banks, and removal companies are able to fully operate within the current guidelines.
Moving into an empty property
Where the property being moved into is vacant, then it is possible to continue with this transaction although you should follow the guidance from the Government on home removals.
Moving into an occupied property
Where the property is currently occupied, the Government is encouraging all parties to do all they can to amicably agree on flexible dates to move.
Properties on the market – video tours
For properties that are currently on the market, whilst social distancing prevents conventional viewings from taking place unless you are in a proceedable position, we have created professional video tours to include floorplans and a google earth flyby to show the exact location of each property.
